Literacy support services for West Michigan residents

Improve your English language skills with the Literacy Center of West Michigan! Classes and skill certifications are available near you today

The Literacy Center of West Michigan works alongside immigrants, refugees, native speakers of English, and anyone else looking to improve their reading and writing. We meet learners where they are – both within the community and along their language journey – and focus on the areas of life most important to them: their family, their work, and their community. Nearly 1,300 learners annually improve their English literacy through workplace literacy classes, community classes, family literacy programs, and one-on-one coaching. Our workplace literacy classes are often offered with certification for in-demand careers to maximize your learning time!
