Each applicant must be at least 18 years old, and provide a Social Security Card and a Birth Certificate.  Once you have submitted this information to the Apprentice Office you will need to complete the following: TAKE AN ASSET TEST WHICH CONSISTS OF BASIC MATH AND READING TEST AT GATEWAY COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND SCORE A MINIMUM OF 30 ON EACH TEST.
