The core of the Electric Program is the National Electrical Code unifying the subject matter of the residential, commercial, industrial wiring, and motor control. The program emphasizes a hands-on approach so that initially the student is taught the use of tools and safety, before their practical and theoretical classroom instruction. Instruction in AC/DC theory, electrical power, and energy is offered. More advanced students will be exposed to introductory commercial electrical systems.
