Friendly Acura of Middletown is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Level Auto Technician to join our team in Middletown, NY. As a key member of our service team, the Master Level Auto Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our customers' vehicles to the highest standards. This individual will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic issues, as well as performing routine maintenance services on a variety of vehicle makes and models. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, superior technical skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package of $150,000 to $175,000 per year (Flat Rate, Hourly Comp + Bonus) In addition to competitive pay, we also offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement within our growing company.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic issues on a variety of vehicle makes and models Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, with impeccable attention to detail Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to provide estimates, recommendations, and updates on repair progress Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerized diagnostic systems and specialized tools, to accurately identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and techniques through ongoing training and development opportunities Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and company policies at all times Contribute to a positive and professional work environment by working collaboratively with team members and demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of Automotive Technology program preferred Current ASE Master Certification in all relevant areas At least 5 years of experience as an auto technician, with a strong track record of success in diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models, with a focus on luxury brands Strong technical skills and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and computerized systems Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
