Phlebotomy Cert
Phlebotomy Cert
at Community College of Denver
Denver Catalog
The phlebotomy certificate provides hands-on training to develop the entry-level skillsets necessary to be employed as a phlebotomist. This one-semester program includes seven-weeks in a lecture-lab environment with state-of-the-art simulation provided through Virtual Phlebotomy simulation and clinical placement. This training prepares students for the NHA examination (National Health Careers Association) to become a certified phlebotomy technician. Although certification is not required to work in Colorado as a phlebotomist, it is highly recommended as it enables students to be more marketable nationwide.
