Job Description

Insight Global Lead HVAC Technician in Denver , Colorado Job Description We are looking for an experienced and skilled Lead HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Below is a list of day to day responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Call Management:
Respond to a heavy workload of service calls in a professional manner.
Customer Communication:
Communicate effectively with customers regardless of their level of technical knowledge. Explain the cause of their problem and the remedy; if the problem has not been repaired, offer an explanation of the situation and recommended next steps.
Troubleshooting:
Follow and utilize troubleshooting guides to identify problems in a short period of time. Use proper tools and instruments while troubleshooting.
System Checks:
Consistently check system operations, safety, and limit controls before leaving job locations. Ensure customers questions and concerns have been addressed before leaving the work site.
Collaboration:
Incorporate solution techniques to assist other service representatives and help resolve issues and customer problems.
Scheduling:
Schedule arrival and departure with customers. Communicate tactfully to offer suggestions if system problems are caused by the customer. Demonstrate the ability to determine priorities based on a call schedule, respond to inadvertent interruptions, carry proper tools and materials, and schedule vehicle maintenance.
Documentation:
Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork. Complete service reports daily and obtain customer signatures on all service reports. Keep supervisors and managers informed of new developments, changes, or customer complaints.
Professional Development:
Sign up for memberships and technical organizations to improve knowledge and skills. Keep technical knowledge current regarding equipment and concepts by reading applicable manuals.
Mentorship:
Teach and help other technicians through issues over the phone or in person. Take ownership of projects and assist the service supervisor and service manager with maintaining ongoing projects.
