CDL Class B Training
at Capital Transportation Academy
Columbus Catalog
When you earn your Class B CDL, you will be licensed to drive single vehicles with manufacturers’ weight ratings of 26,001 lbs. or more. This includes dump trucks, tow trucks, delivery trucks, garbage trucks, and commercial buses. Capital Transportation Academy’s 120-hour program provides in-class instruction, maneuverability, and behind-the-wheel, road training.
With our experienced instructors- all licensed commercial drivers- you learn in a private and personalized setting, Capital Transportation Academy offers small class sizes, enabling you to get more attention and additional time behind the wheel during training. Our trucks are equipped to enhance student safety and learning so you can learn in a safe and clean environment.
Capital Transportation Academy maintains a fleet of seven units for Class B CDL training, including a late-model straight (box) truck and school buses for Class B CDL training. By utilizing both a commercial Class B straight truck and school buses for learning, you receive driving experience and a comprehensive understanding of the different styles of Class B vehicles.
