Possible career opportunities for those with a CompTIA® A+ certification include entry-level positions such as Computer User Support Specialist, Computer Technician, Desktop Support Technician, Field Service Technician, Help Desk Support Technician, and System Support Technician. Tasks associated with these positions include: answering user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems; diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems; installing, upgrading, and repairing hardware and software; and training users in the proper use of hardware or software.
