The certificate provides students with specialized instruction in GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW processes, metal fabrication, machining, and CNC technologies. Students also develop proficiency with thermal and mechanical cutting processes. This certificate is ideal for students interested in career pathways involving metal fabrication in both shop and field settings using carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Completing this program will prepare students to pass various American Welding Society (AWS) performance qualification tests. Safety and professionalism are stressed throughout the program.
