State-approved Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) training program is designed to prepare you to take the Medical Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy National Exams. Certified Clinical Medical Assistants provide critical support to medical facilities in a clinical or office environment. Our CCMA program will teach all aspects related to this growing field. The CCMA will be trained to work alongside the doctor at a physician's office or urgent care center. CCMAs are trained to assist physicians with minor office surgeries, physical exams, prescriptions, injections, X-ray procedures, phlebotomy, front and back office procedures, and EKG. The course includes 30 classroom blood draws, as well as 10 EKG performed on fellow students.

Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
