The Logistics program prepares students to plan and sequence materials so that businesses and industries can produce goods and services to meet forecasts and customer demands. Learn the importance of planning and managing inventory, raw materials, purchased components, work-in-progress and finished goods. These programs address the technical competencies of highly skilled, higher-wage, front-line material handlers and distribution workers in all supply chain facilities.

Production, Planning, and Expediting Clerks
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
