Mechanical Trades Carolina is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) specializing in training plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians. We teach a wide variety of plumbing, pipefitting, and HVAC classes including welding, brazing, and certifications. Training is offered to all members of UA Local 421 through our apprenticeship and continuing education programs. We have 4 training centers throughout North and South Carolina. At these centers, you will find every skill and tool needed to work in the pipefitting industry. Admissions
- Copy of a Valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License
- Must be a current resident of North Carolina or South Carolina
- Copy of Social Security Card
- Copy of a Valid Birth Certificate
- Copy of High School Diploma or GED
- Members coming in from the Military should provide their DD214
- Anyone transferring from a Community College program may be exempt from the CRC test
- Dependable transportation is required.
- Career Readiness Certificate Test Results with Silver or Higher
