The Construction Steamfitter apprenticeship is a 5-year time-based training program where an apprentice earns while they learn, Apprentices learn the trade through three structured training opportunities:

  • Paid Related Instruction ( Theory & Fundamentals)
  • Unpaid Related Instruction ( Techniques & Certifications)
  • On-the-Job Training (Applied Education) Upon completion of the Steamfitters Local 601 Apprenticeship Program, Journey-level members are awarded 45 college credits and a rewarding career with no college debt.
