The Construction Steamfitter apprenticeship is a five-year, time-based training program that allows apprentices to earn while they learn. The program provides a comprehensive education through three structured training opportunities: Paid Related Instruction, which covers theory and fundamental principles; Unpaid Related Instruction, focusing on techniques and certifications; and On-the-Job Training, where apprentices apply their education in real-world settings. Upon completing the Steamfitters Local 601 Apprenticeship Program, journey-level members receive 45 college credits and gain a rewarding career without the burden of college debt.
