The St. Charles Billing and Coding Specialist program offers the training and knowledge you need to earn the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification. Various healthcare providers—including physician practices, hospitals, pharmacies, long-term care facilities, and chiropractic and physical therapy practices—rely on medical billing and coding for insurance reimbursement. This course could be a great opportunity for you to enter the healthcare field without spending years in school. This 14-week comprehensive course consists of 84 hours of classroom instruction. You will learn the foundations of medical terminology and the technical knowledge and skills to maintain aspects of the revenue cycle to ensure reimbursements are completed on time.
