South Piedmont’s Plumbing Program prepares students with the skills they need to install and repair water, sewer, and other piping systems in homes, businesses, and factories. As part of the coursework, students will prepare cost estimates, read blueprints and follow state and local building codes, determine materials and equipment needed for a job, install pipes and fixtures, inspect and test installed pipe systems and pipelines, troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, and maintain and repair plumbing systems.
