The Network Support Technician Certificate gives students the in-demand support skills to assist network administrators in managing complex local area and wide area networks and keep them up and running. Students study network computer maintenance and repair (A+), network concepts and operating systems, Cisco networking fundamentals (Net+), Cisco router technology, and how to install and configure Windows 10 in preparation for Microsoft Exam 70-698. Graduates qualify for roles as computer support specialists, network support technicians, and network analysts. The 21-credit certificate can be taken on its own or applied towards Seminole State's Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Information Systems Technology.
