The Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management program is designed to produce graduates who are qualified for entry-level positions in a multitude of career opportunities in distribution, transportation, warehousing, trucking operations, supply chain, and manufacturing organizations. In today’s global marketplace, students have unprecedented opportunities to become logistics and supply chain management professionals who are capable of integrating and optimizing all the steps required to deliver the right product to the right customer at the right time. With the performance of the logistical and supply chain process being a critical factor in a company’s profitability, the demand for skilled workers in this field continues to increase. All the program courses listed in the Certificate of Technology below also apply toward the Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
