This program teaches entry level welding, blueprint reading, shop equipment and tools, and safety. Students will understand correct electrode selection for different welding applications. Three areas of welding are offered: shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and oxyacetylene welding (OFW).
