Phlebotomy Program
at Regan Career Institute
Los Angeles Catalog
A Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT1) is a trained professional authorized to collect blood samples through skin puncture and venipuncture. They ensure accurate collection and labeling of blood samples, follow proper equipment usage, and maintain patient information in a database. Certified Phlebotomists also provide comfort to nervous patients during the blood drawing process. Due to California’s licensing/certification requirement for phlebotomists, the demand for Certified Phlebotomy Technicians has greatly increased. Regan Career Institute offers one of Southern California’s longest-running and CDPH-approved Phlebotomy Certificate programs, taught by experienced Phlebotomy Training Specialists. Regan Career Institute will not only train you the right way but also guide you through the process towards California CPT1 licensure.
