Featuring an engaging curriculum, the Medical Assistant program is made up of courses that teach essential skills through hands-on education. Students work under the careful guidance of our knowledgeable instructors, who all have first-hand experience in the field.
Students will learn and build a professional vocabulary of medical terminology, and basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical office procedures. Many graduates of the medical assistant program will immediately assume positions as medical assistants in clinics, hospitals, healthcare facilities, doctor’s offices, and more.

Medical Assistants
Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
