Pathways to Apprenticeship is currently recruiting for our next Direct Entry Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship class, which can lead to a Building Trades Apprenticeship where you learn a trade while working. One of the distinguishing features of this program is its focus on connecting participants with apprenticeship opportunities in the building trades. Through partnerships with local unions, contractors, and industry associations, the program facilitates entry into registered apprenticeship programs, providing participants with a clear pathway to career advancement and journey-level status.

Carpenters
Construct, erect, install, or repair structures and fixtures made of wood and comparable materials, such as concrete forms; building frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; and wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall, and batt or roll insulation. Includes brattice builders who build doors or brattices (ventilation walls or partitions) in underground passageways.
