Upon completion of the Electronic Systems Integration and Automation program, students can enter the Electronics Integration program. An Electronic Systems Technician (EST) installs, upgrades, and services a wide variety of residential and commercial electronic systems including; Audio/Video Systems, Computers, Lighting, Automation Conrols, Security, Telecom, Cable, Satellite, and Green Technologies. An EST’s role is both high-tech and hands-on and is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy and likes to work with his or her hands.

Install, set up, rearrange, or remove switching, distribution, routing, and dialing equipment used in central offices or headends. Service or repair telephone, cable television, Internet, and other communications equipment on customers' property. May install communications equipment or communications wiring in buildings.
