The minor or certificate in Supply Chain Management is designed to complement all business and business-related majors. It is designed to provide students with the knowledge and insights necessary for success in the logistics industry. Students are introduced to the industry through a coordinated set of courses focused on the foundational skills needed for entry into the profession and that are aligned to a premier professional industry certification.
The program is designed to provide academic and professional training in supply chain management to non-degree-seeking students and a path to industry certification. In addition, non-degree-seeking students will earn an ODU certificate in Supply Chain Management upon completion of all minor courses. This unique combination of an academic minor and preparation for a national certification will broaden the talent pool for the industry while providing graduates with opportunities in a high-demand, high-growth sector.
