Construction Pre-Apprenticeship
Construction Pre-Apprenticeship
at NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS)
New York City Catalog
This full-time program gives hands-on training in construction trades like carpentry and electrical. It also teaches math skills, an overview of the industry, and professionalism and job readiness. After you complete the program, you will be given special consideration when interviews open for apprenticeships in construction unions. Pre-Apprenticeship programs offer a unique pathway to union career opportunities in the NYC Construction Trades. We partner with several organizations that have Direct Entry agreements with the unions so their graduates have special consideration when interviews open for new apprenticeship roles.
