The LVN program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing (BON). It’s a certificate program designed to prepare entry-level practitioners to provide direct care to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed physician. Emphasis is placed upon the ability to make sound judgments based on the knowledge of scientific principles and the ability to utilize technical skills in a variety of settings. LVN programs are offered at Gainesville, Corinth, Bowie, Graham, and as an online hybrid. The program is 12 months in length.
