Admissions

  • Students who wish to be admitted to the Medical Assisting Certificate program must complete a college application, indicating Medical Assisting as the major (C.MA). Working with the Medical Assisting program administrator or academic advisor, the students will plan the course sequence.
  • Students will need to complete the College placement asessments‡ in English and Reading and place at or above
  • ESL 011 ESL Basic Writing or ENG 011 Basic Writing or ENG 010A Basic Writing, REA 011 Fundamentals of College Reading or ESL/REA 017 Vocabulary & Reading Comprehension Development II
