The **Medical Coding Basic **course provides entry-level training in the fundamentals of Coding and Billing for a career as a professional coder in healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology. The Medical Coding Advanced course builds on the knowledge gained from the Basic Coding course and prepares students to take the National Coder’s Certification Exam through AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders).
