This course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of basic IT concepts and terminology, including hardware, software, security, and infrastructure. The course will feature hands-on activities and practical exercises to reinforce the concepts learned in class. Students will also have access to practice assessments and study materials to help them prepare for the ITF+ certification exam. The course consists of approximately 10-12 hours per week of self-paced online work, including labs, reading material, and practice, supplemented with an additional 2 hours of virtual instruction with an IT professional. Weekly office hours are offered for additional support out of class to ensure student success.
