The CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) program is an entry-level certification for individuals who are new to the field of Information Technology (IT) and are uncertain if an IT career is the right fit for them. This course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of basic IT concepts and terminology, including hardware, software, security, and infrastructure. The course will feature hands-on activities and practical exercises to reinforce the concepts learned in class. Students will also have access to practice assessments and study materials to help them prepare for the ITF+ certification exam. The course consists of approximately 10-12 hours per week of self-paced online work, including labs, reading material, and practice, supplemented with an additional 2 hours of virtual instruction with an IT professional.
