Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic Carpenters’ Training Centers where we train the best carpenters in the Mid-Atlantic region. This site will allow you to explore the Carpentry Apprenticeship Program to understand the benefits of becoming a union carpenter with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. The MACTC is a registered apprenticeship program in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The program is governed by the agreed Standards for each of these jurisdictions. The MACTC apprenticeship is a three-year, four-year, or five-year program consisting of on-the-job training and related school-based instruction. MACTC provides training in the following crafts of the carpentry trade.
