Certificate of Completion in Welding
at Mesa Community College
Phoenix Catalog
Welding uses heat and, sometimes, filler metal, to permanently join or to cut metal parts and to fill holes and fix seams in metal products. Welders use their skills to build or rebuild bridges, highways, buildings, and other structures, as well as ships, airplanes, and cars. If it’s made of metal, welding probably played a part in it. For a hands-on career like welding, you need a hands-on training program. At MCC, you’ll develop your welding technology skills in both gas and electric arc welding processes. Learn how to use advanced welding machines and techniques in MCC’s labs, which are outfitted with state-of-the-art industrial welding equipment.
