The accounting certificate is appropriate for students interested in changing careers, uncommitted students exploring a new field of study, entrepreneurs interested in keeping their own records, and existing accountants reentering the workforce after a long duration of time. The certificate students are qualified to find entry-level and/or higher-level positions depending on their other academic qualifications in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bookkeeping, and as accountants and auditors.
