Basic automotive skills are taught in the automotive autocore program along with electronics and theory for engine performance and advanced system diagnosis. Students receive advanced training in the eight areas of ASE testing, with preparation skills provided to pass the ASE certification tests in each of the eight specific areas, as well as, the advanced engine performance test. ASE areas include: Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission/Trans-axle, Manual drive train and axles, Suspension and Steering, Brakes System Technology, Electrical/Electronic systems, Heating and Air Conditioning and Engine Performance and Advanced Engine Performance.

Admissions
Admission Requirements:
- 16 years of age or older and not currently enrolled in any K-12 program
- Occupational Interest
- Would benefit the student to have a valid driver license and a clear driving record to ensure employment after graduation
