This course will cover the Network+ exam objectives from the following five domains: network architecture, network operations, network security, troubleshooting, and industry standards. You will concentrate on the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of common wired and wireless network devices, define the appropriate cabling and device technologies, determine the network troubleshooting methodology and appropriate tools, and examine physical security and common attacks while securing wired and wireless networks. At the end of this course, you will have learned the essentials needed to pass the CompTIA Network+ Exam successfully. Exam and materials are included.

Network and Computer Systems Administrators
Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

CompTIA A+ or 9-12 months of networking experience* *If you have at least 9 months to 1 year of experience in the IT field, you may qualify for an exemption from this prerequisite. If interested in an exemption, you will be required to submit at least one of the following:
- Transcripts from an accredited institution in which computer classes were taken AND a minimum grade of a C or better earned for those classes.
- A current job description listing your daily duties.
