What skills and credentials will I gain?

Graduating students will receive a Certificate of Achievement in Electrical Technology. 

  • Step 1- Complete and submit the Acceptance Test application to CALCTP. Applications (both AT-Employer and AT-Technician) are available on the CALCTP website at Www.Calctp.Org, submit a completed application to [email protected]
  • Step 2- Receive the Admission Slip from CALCTP. Required for entry into both the AT-Technician and AT-Employer training classes along with a form of ID
  • Step 3- Contact Laney College, E/ET Department ([email protected]) regarding training dates/times and applicable fees. Registration Form
  • Step 4- Complete the course, and receive a certificate. Certified CALCTP AT-Technicians and AT-Employers are listed on CALCTP website
