at Kellogg Community College
West Michigan Catalog
Heating and air conditioning systems control the temperature, humidity, and air quality in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings while refrigeration systems cool areas for the storage of perishable items. The Industrial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) program at Kellogg Community College prepares students to install, maintain, and repair these systems utilizing our top-notch equipment and self-paced instructional method. Our program has one of the only low-pressure refrigerant trainers in Michigan. KCC offers a certificate and an associate degree in Industrial HVAC-R, as well as the more generalized Trades certificate and associate degree geared toward company-sponsored students.
