Operating Engineer Apprenticeship
at International Union of Operating Engineers Local 30
New York City Catalog
The best-trained engineers and mechanics carry an International Union of Operating Engineers Local 30 card in their pocket. Our Apprenticeship program is the only New York State Department of Labor-certified program in Stationary Engineering. IUOE Local 30 apprentices learn their trade working side by side with the best engineers in the region. Their practical experience is combined with classroom instruction that focuses on the theoretical principles of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Our skills improvement program focuses on training Local 30 members in new technologies and best practices in our industries. We work closely with industry leaders to ensure that our skills improvement program is training members on the most up-to-date systems and equipment.
