Carpenter Apprentice Training

at Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters

Eastern Kentucky Catalog

Professional carpenters are responsible for bringing blueprints to life. They work on everything from the foundations to the finishes in hospitals, hotels, office buildings, schools, skyscrapers and beyond. Whether it is working on the concrete, framing, insulation, drywall, trim or exterior finishes, the carpenter provides the crucial work on almost every type of structure. Carpenters not only build our buildings, they drive the piles needed for the buildings, build the new bridges over our expressways and rivers, build the scaffolding needed at our power plants and refineries, and so much more. IKORCC carpenters are the most highly trained and productive in the business. Our carpenters are skilled in laying out, measuring, cutting, erecting, and joining materials together. They are highly trained to work quickly, accurately, and safely, while delivering the quality of work contractors and their customers have come to expect.
