The General Electrician certificate is designed to prepare students with skills in residential, commercial, industrial, and voice/data/video (VDV) in the construction electrician industry. Once the student finishes the program, he or she will qualify to seek employment in the electrical and energy sector anywhere in the state. The General Electrician program uses the National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) curricula that include competency-based assessments. NCCER is a national industry-recognized credential with the Department of Apprenticeship Standards.
