ATEI offers training for both new entrants into the electrical industry and for experienced journey-level workers as well. ATEI utilizes the apprenticeship model for training new entrants into the electrical industry. Apprenticeship is a training model that has existed for hundreds of years and is built on the combination of on-the-job training (OTJ) and related or classroom training. Applications for the "Electrical (Wireman) Program" apprenticeship are taken in the first two full weeks of April each year. Applications and payment of a $40.00 processing fee must be made in person at 1719 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130. Only money orders will be accepted. No cash or personal checks.
