Hocking College Public Safety Services will be hosting an OPOTC approved academy class running from January 5, 2023 to May 11, 2023. Classes will run Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some Saturdays and Sunday classes will be required for firearms, driving, radar, etc. Morning physical condition classes will start at 6:00 a.m. three days a week. For further information please contact Commander Roger Deardorff. Dates for the Pre-PT testing will be October 18, and 25, November 29, and December 6 at 9:00 a.m. All candidates need to meet in the 2nd floor lobby of the Public Safety Building 15 minutes prior to start time.  Following the successful completion of the Pre-PT testing, candidates will be directed to the Hocking Wellness Center and Police Department to finish medical, background testing, and registration. Please allow 4 hours for this process. Bring a current copy of your drivers license, Hocking College student number, and student email address.
