Through the fire science program’s Firefighter Certificate course, students can be prepared to earn both their Firefighter I and Firefighter II certifications in just one semester. All fire science courses at Hocking College follow standards established by the National Fire Protection Association 1001 and the Ohio Department of Public Safety for the education of firefighters.
