This certificate can be used as documentation to show a student has reached a certain level of proficiency in Electrical Engineering Technology. This certificate can be earned while pursuing an Associate in Applied Science degree in Electrical Technology. Electrical Engineering Technology articulation agreements are also available to certain 4-year universities. To earn this certificate there is approximately 50% hands-on lab work and 50% theory involved. Students will receive training in basic electricity, the proper use of test equipment, motors, generators, semiconductors, digital electronics, control circuits, circuit calculations, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting.
