The Dental Assisting program utilizes a hands-on educational approach where students learn by doing. Dental Assistants
Perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a dentist. Clinical duties may include equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during treatment, and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. May perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.

Admissions
Applicants must be 18 years of age. Applicants may submit an application for admission in person or by email or via school website. All applications must be submitted prior to the first day of class. No late enrollments will be accepted. A personal interview is required with the school President (Director) prior to admission. Only applicants who show a real desire to study and whose personal educational background points to enthusiasm to learn will be accepted. Applicants will be considered without regard to race, creed, sex, or national origin.
