The first section is the 4-week CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) work readiness portion during which students will be exposed daily to; The 5 A’s (attendance, attitude, academics, appearance, and accountability), daily affirmations, enrichment/introduction to remote learning and computer literacy, researching the truck driving industry, resume preparation, interview practice, financial literacy, and other Work Readiness tools. The second section of the 10-week course is devoted to the initial entrepreneurial training needed to become a successful owner/operator including managerial accounting and supply chain management.
