Florida Dental Assistant Training Schools Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification Course is designed to certify the dental student in performance and competency of Florida EFDA Duties. It includes those duties which may be performed under the supervision of a dentist and for which formal training is required. Our program combines lecture, clinical, and hands-on training during each session totaling 176 clock hours. Our course is administered in accordance with the Florida Board of Dentistry, the Florida Department of Health, and the Florida Department of Education.
