Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.

Admissions
Applicants looking to apply for the inside wireman apprenticeship must meet the following requirements:
- Be 18 years or older at the time of indenture
- Complete the application and blind EEOC forms
- Be a high school graduate or Ohio GED equivalent
- Produce a high school diploma or GED certificate
- Provide an official high school transcript
- Provide an official post-secondary transcript (if applicable)
- Have passed an algebra course (either one credit year at the secondary level, three semester hours at a post-secondary institution, or ETC Tech math course)
- Provide a copy of your birth certificate
- Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to understand written instructions in American English
- Earn a qualifying score of ALEX – 20 (math)
- Submit a $50 application fee
