Our 80-hour package is approved by the State of Oregon to meet the mandatory Pre-License Education Requirement for the Life, Health, Property, and Casualty Insurance lines. We'll begin the course with an overview of insurance regulations in the state and followed with material on federal laws and regulations associated with life and health insurance. A discussion of general insurance concepts are up next, followed by life insurance basics, life insurance policies and life provisions, options, and riders. Subsequent discussions include annuities, federal taxation of life insurance, and the state laws and rules related to life insurance.  After the conclusion of life insurance, we move on to accident and health insurance. The lessons begin with a detailed look at accident and health basics and individual health insurance policy provisions. The next sections detail disability income coverage, medical plans, and group health insurance concepts. We’ll continue with an in-depth discussion of specialized health insurance for qualified individuals, federal health insurance taxation, and conclude the health insurance portion with a review of state health insurance laws and rules.  Property and Casualty insurance comprise the next section of courses that will be studied. The property and casualty lessons begin with another look at insurance regulation and federal laws and rules that apply to property and casualty insurance. A review of general insurance concepts follows and the course continues with a deep discussion of property and casualty basics, dwelling insurance, and homeowner insurance policies. Continuing, the next sections include personal and commercial automobile insurance, commercial policy packages, and business owner contracts. Workers’ compensation, other types of property and casualty insurance, and property and casualty laws and rules conclude the course.
