This course will provide Property and Casualty insurance licensing candidates in Pennsylvania with the materials needed to successfully prepare for the Property and Casualty license examination. This 24-hour course covers all of the topics included within the Pennsylvania Candidate Information Bulletin and will give the student a solid base of knowledge and understanding for the license examination. This updated course includes many illustrations, examples, and quizzes associated with the state test, and provides a well-rounded approach to test preparation. The topics covered in the course begin with the basics of Property and Casualty insurance and introduce the candidate to terms, definitions, and concepts that are the foundation of P&C insurance. The course continues with material on dwelling and homeowner insurance and will discuss both the property and casualty portions of the contracts. Personal and commercial automobile insurance is thoroughly explored, with commercial property and liability insurance following. Business Owner policies are detailed, as well as workers’ compensation insurance and other property and casualty policies, including surety, watercraft, recreational vehicles, and other important examination topics.
