DAACF offers a wide variety of courses to fully prepare you for a future in Dental Assisting. Our course is designed to fully prepare you for your EFDA (Extended Functions Dental Assistant) Exams and ensure you get your dental assisting license. We will go over all the professional, ethical, and legal issues that commonly arise in the dental field and you will be taught all of the safety measures that must be taken to protect patients and operators in all areas of dentistry. Our accelerated 8-week course will provide students the opportunity to receive hands-on training and individual education in all areas of dental assisting including Infection Control, Radiogrophy, Dentition, Oral Pathology, Surgery, and more. You will also receive tailored education for all fields of dentistry including Pediatric Dentristry, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Periodontics from trained professionals.

Dental Assistants
Perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a dentist. Clinical duties may include equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during treatment, and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. May perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.

Admissions
To enroll in school, applicants: -Must be at least 18 years of age -Must possess a valid driver’s license or Government-issued ID. -Must submit high school transcripts, GED, or recognized equivalency -Must schedule interview and tour of school facility -Must submit a registration fee (refundable within 3 days) -Must submit completed and signed enrollment documents.
